The American Geophysicists’ Union Annual Meeting is the largest gathering of Earth and space scientists in the world. I will be presenting a poster describing my climate change communication project Climate Odyssey alongside my collaborator, hydrologist Zion Klos, at this year’s AGU conference in San Francisco. We’ll share about our year-long sailing expedition and art and science collaboration at a poster session called “Art and Design of Visualizations in the Geosciences: Inspiration, Interpretation, and Communication”. The conference is meant to encourage dialogue between artists and scientists. I’m eager to meet fellow scientists and artists engaging in collaboration, teachers who can incorporate Climate Odyssey into middle and high school science curriculums.
